Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa is reportedly one of the names on Napoli’s list of transfer targets this summer, according to Alfredo Pedulla’s report for Football Italia.
Chiesa only joined Liverpool from Juventus last summer, but it’s fair to say he hasn’t made much of an impact in his first season at Anfield.
It may be that Chiesa will now make a speedy exit from Liverpool, and Napoli seem to be considering him as one of a number of options out wide.
Still, for now it seems Napoli’s priority in that position would be Bologna’s Dan Ndoye, but Chiesa is also mentioned as one to watch out for.

Liverpool have a number of options out wide so don’t really have much need for Chiesa as things stand.
The Italy international is a fine player on his day, but clearly not quite good enough to break into Arne Slot’s side on a regular basis.
Unless one or more of Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota leave LFC this summer, it’s hard to see Chiesa’s situation changing any time soon.
With that in mind, Chiesa could do well to get himself a move back to Italy as soon as possible.

Football Italia’s report also quotes Chiesa as recently having this to say on his future:
“That’s something to think about during the summer. My family, my agent and I have a great relationship with Liverpool, and the goal is to be ready for the pre-season. We’ll find the best solution for everyone.
“I work every day with a Liverpool program to be in top shape for the tests on July 8.”
All change at Liverpool this summer
Chiesa was Liverpool’s only signing last year, but a far busier window is expected this time.
Florian Wirtz has been linked with the Reds by the Athletic and others, and that will only push Chiesa further down the pecking order.
Meanwhile, we’ve also already seen the Premier League champions confirm the signing of Jeremie Frimpong, who has replaced the Real Madrid-bound Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Slot inherited a settled squad from Jurgen Klopp last year, but it now looks like he’s going to put his own stamp on this team with players heading in and out.
