New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs and his relationship with Cardi B got criticized by one of the guests of Jason Whitlock in his recent podcast.
In a recent episode of his program “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock had author, public speaker, and personal empowerment advocate Shemeka Michelle give her honest thoughts on the recently c confirmed dating relationship between Stefon Diggs and artist Cardi B.
“I hope it’s a publicity stunt,” Michelle said. “I don’t understand why Stefan would actually go this way. I think it was Justin who said this morning, he’s a player, so he doesn’t think it’ll last. I’ve actually heard that more than one time that this is just a catastrophe waiting to happen.”
“I don’t think either one of these people are actually ready to commit to just one another,” she added. “Maybe they’re going to have an open relationship. I don’t know. But it just seems like any man in his right mind would not try to attach himself to Cardi B. We know that she’s, number one, not officially divorced. She has three children, the youngest being eight months old.”
“Why would you want to do that? Then she’s constantly running to social media to put out all of her dirty laundry. I just don’t see why a man who has something going for himself would actually want to hitch on to this.”

Stefon Diggs Remains with Patriots Despite Viral Boat Video Controversy
Stefon Diggs will continue playing for the New England Patriots, as the team has decided not to cut him following the recent viral boat video incident. The footage, which showed Diggs holding a bag with a questionable pink substance while on a boat, sparked speculation about his future with the franchise.

Head coach Mike Vrabel addressed the situation, stating that discussions between Diggs and the team would remain private. Despite the controversy, NFL insider Ian Rapoport confirmed that the Patriots have no plans to release Diggs, emphasizing that he is a valuable player and has passed his physical.
Diggs, who joined the Patriots earlier this year after leaving the Houston Texans, is recovering from a torn ACL but is making progress toward full health for the 2025 season. Before his injury, he was performing at a high level, recording 47 catches for 496 yards and three touchdowns in just eight games. His absence prevented him from reaching 1,000 receiving yards for the seventh consecutive season.

Now, Diggs is focused on building chemistry with rookie quarterback Drake Maye, as he recently participated in the team’s organized team activities (OTAs) for the first time this summer. As the season approaches, Stefon Diggs will aim to prove his value on the field and move past the off-field distractions.
