Every Premier League free agent so far this summer including Stoke City favourite

Premier League clubs have started to confirm their retained and released lists in the first couple of weeks after the final game of the season.

There are high profile names who will be on their way out of their current clubs during this transfer window, not least Kevin de Bruyne, who is ending a 10-year trophy-speckled stay at Manchester City and looks bound for Napoli at the age of 33.

Jonny Evans, aged 37, is hanging up his boots as he leaves Manchester United but 38-year-old Jamie Vardy is looking for a new club after saying an emotional farewell to relegated Leicester City.

Asmir Begovic, one of the best Stoke City goalkeepers since Gordon Banks, is leaving Everton at the age of 37 and has spent the weekend coaching at one of his goalkeeper academies in Iceland. It was his second annual summer camp in Reykjavik and he has launched another academy location at Bournemouth, where he has previously spent time during his career.

He already has an academy base in Nantwich, close to his Stoke roots; and others in Cobham, near his Chelsea connections; Sarajevo near where he was born; and Heilbronn in Germany, where he grew up; as well as Nottingham.

The keeper said as he left Everton: "(It was) a beautiful farewell to Goodison Park. An incredible occasion for all Evertonians and very blessed to have been a part of it all.

"It’s been an absolute honour to be a part of Everton Football Club over my two spells. A huge thank you to all my teammates, staff, and all the fans for making me feel welcome at this special club. I wish you all nothing but the very best. (I'm ready) for the next challenge ahead."

Axel Tuanzebe, the former Stoke loan centre-back, is in talks about extending his stay at Ipswich Town while former Stoke loan goalkeeper Daniel Iversen has left Leicester to join Preston North End.
