Sheffield Wednesday youngster Caelan-Kole Cadamarteri has agreed to join Manchester City, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Sheffield Wednesday are a club in limbo at the moment with takeover and managerial speculation circulating, all while SWFC staff wait on delayed payments from Dejphon Chansiri.
Manager Danny Rohl seems destined to depart, though there is a concerning lack of clarity over just about everything at Hillsborough at this moment in time.

All the while, the transfer business has opened for a first 10-day period before opening again halfway through the month. At this moment in time, it appears no early deals are in the works for Wednesday.
Now though, it seems one of their top youngsters is set to head for pastures new.
Writing on X, reporter Fabrizio Romano has said that young Sheffield Wednesday striker Caelan-Kole Cadamarteri is set to join Manchester City after a deal was agreed.
He becomes the latest top prospect to join the Premier League giants in their bid to sign and develop young stars for the future.
Local news outlet The Star has said that Manchester City have made an offer but are not alone in doing so with Chelsea and Everton also keen. They do not say a deal has been agreed, though it could cost in the region of £1.5m to sign the 15-year-old striker from SWFC.

Sheffield Wednesday in no position to resist interest
As all clubs do, Sheffield Wednesday will hope that their top young players can progress through their youth ranks and into the first-team over the years to come.
Such a path would have been laid out in front of Cadamarteri too, though with Manchester City making their move now, SWFC are in no position to turn down interest.

Put simply, Wednesday need money. Selling Cadamarteri would provide them with that, so it might not be long before a deal is pushed through.

One Cadamarteri remains
While Caelan-Kole looks to be heading for pastures new, Sheffield Wednesday will still have one top Cadamarteri prospect on the books in the form of older brother Bailey.
The 20-year-old has made his own eye-catching breakthrough over the past 18 months or so, first being handed senior opportunities under Rohl.
He joined Lincoln City on loan for the 2024/25 season and while injuries limited his minutes, Cadamarteri still gained valuable experience from his time at Sincil Bank and performed well when available. The SWFC talent notched eight goals in 32 games, averaging a goal every 195 minutes.
