Moriah Mills contacted Tony Buzbee for legal assistance in a possible lawsuit against her past romantic partner and New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson. Tony Buzbee said he will pass.
“A member of our staff spoke to her,” Buzbee’s team revealed to TMZ. “After review, we declined to take her case.”
Adding, “As you know, we are contacted by numerous people across the United States daily with grievances. We can’t help them all. Some of those we do take are resolved quietly. A number are filed and litigated, like the $640 million jury verdict we achieved a few weeks back. Only a small few become public.”
Mills hinted at seeking legal action after a woman sued Williamson for rape last week.
As a flashback, the former lover of Zion Williamson aired out the Pelicans superstar in the past, targeting his weight struggles that are often a topic of conversation in many NBA circles. Mills’ association with Williamson occurred during a tumultuous offseason, when Williamson’s actual girlfriend revealed she was pregnant, prompting the adult star to go on an online rampage.
Hitting TikTok, Mills stated Williamson’s publicist runs a smear campaign against her.
“Here’s some advice, Zion Williamson, since you wanna send your publicist to talk shit about me every other friggin’ week,” Mills said. “How about you get on a treadmill, speed three, level 12, and maybe you’ll lose some weight. And go on it for like an hour, too. Second, how about you stop drinking sodas? Three, how about you practice doing three-pointers? Everybody’s tired of seeing you do dunks all freakin’ day. Learn another move, it’s getting bored and tired. You’re tired and boring, just like you were in bed.”

Just last week, Williamson was accused of rape and various forms of abuse.
A lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by Jane Doe accuses Williamson of “sexual, physical, emotional, and financial” abuse throughout their multiyear relationship.
According to ESPN, the relationship began during Williamson’s tenure at Duke in 2018 and ended in 2023.
The lawsuit is 12 pages long, and the incidents occurred in both Louisiana and California. Williamson is accused of rape in 2020 in Beverly Hills, stating Williamson demanded sex after she said “she was tired and wanted to go to sleep.” Williamson allegedly pinned her down and raped her. Williamson also reportedly threw the woman’s phone and choked her. The woman stated she was raped again in Oct. 2020, which was more violent. Williamson also allegedly strangled the woman to a loss of consciousness multiple times and issued threats to her family.
The woman is reportedly seeking “anywhere from $18 million to $50 million in damages.”
“We take these allegations with the utmost seriousness, and we unequivocally deny them,” Williamson’s attorneys at Barrasso Usdin Kupperman Freeman & Sarver LLC said in a statement to ESPN. “The allegations contained in the complaint are categorically false and reckless. … This appears to be an attempt to exploit a professional athlete driven by a financial motive rather than any legitimate grievance.”
