Luis Diaz’s future is something that has been up in the air over the last few months.
There are several clubs with a reported interest in Diaz, but at the moment, no concrete bids have been made.
Diaz was one of the Anfield outfit’s most prolific attackers in the 2024-25 campaign, and on paper, it would be silly for Arne Slot to get rid of him, especially with Florian Wirtz about to come in.

However, as with all players, there’s a price that Liverpool wouldn’t be able to turn down, no matter who the offer comes from.
Luis Diaz has chosen not to extend his apartment lease in Liverpool
As per a fresh report from GiveMeSport, Diaz has chosen against extending the lease on his apartment in Liverpool.
Diaz has even given the ‘go-ahead’ for his furniture to be placed into storage until his ‘future is decided.’
As mentioned, Barcelona are the most likely team to take him away from Anfield, but until the Catalan outfit find out how much money they have to play with, an offer is off the table.
The report adds that Liverpool would be seeking a transfer fee worth around £70million if Diaz were to leave this summer, with Barca currently ‘struggling’ to reach that level of ‘commitment.’

Cristiano Ronaldo could help Liverpool keep Luis Diaz from moving to Al-Nassr
Alongside Barcelona, Al-Nassr are also in the running for Diaz’s signature.
The report from GiveMeSport adds that while the Saudi side may have ‘access’ to the funds required, there are still some questions over what their next move will be.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract with Al-Nassr is set to expire at the end of June, with the Portugal international’s future ‘higher on their list of priorities’ than making a move for Diaz at the moment.

The 2024-25 season of Luis Diaz in numbers.
And, should Ronaldo choose to stay in Saudi Arabia and extend his stay, this could mean that Al-Nassr’s focus will be shifted away from the attacker.
Indeed, this would be excellent news for Liverpool due to Diaz’s “ridiculous feet” being one of the main things to have helped Arne Slot win the Premier League title this season.
Of course, only time will tell what the future holds, but for now, it’s anyone’s guess what could happen.
