Molineux News can reveal Wolves have been ‘impressed’ by Sheffield United wing-back Harrison Burrows as a potential replacement for Rayan Ait-Nouri, but there is one problem.
After concluding the 2024/25 campaign in 16th position, the transfer window hasn’t got off to the most ideal start for Wolves.
Matheus Cunha completed his long-awaited transfer to Manchester United, with supporters accepting he was already on his way out, but now, Vitor Pereira could need cover for Rayan Ait-Nouri.
Manchester City are pushing hard to sign Ait-Nouri before the Club World Cup. But fortunately, Wolves have identified multiple replacements for the Algerian in preparation for his departure.

Wolves like Sheffield United’s Harrison Burrows but he could be too expensive
Wolves are targeting Brondby’s Clement Bischoff as a long-term replacement at wing-back, but considering he’s just 19-years-old, they arguably need someone a bit older to grab the bull by the horns.
Molineux News can exclusively reveal that Wolves have been ‘impressed’ by Sheffield United wing-back Harrison Burrows, who recently tasted defeat against Sunderland in the Championship play-off final.
The 23-year-old, however, could be ‘very expensive’ and sources close to Molineux News believe they may return to the South American or European market for a replacement, hence the interest in Bischoff.
Burrows, who cost the Blades £6 million last summer, was integral to Sheffield United’s hopes of achieving promotion last term, and amassed an impressive 12 goal involvements from wing-back.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
The Englishman is known for his incredible crossing ability and quality from set-pieces, something that would be a dream for striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
The Championship is an expensive market to shop in
Burrows isn’t the only Championship talent being linked with a move to Wolves, as multiple other names have been touted with a transfer.
Wolves have been linked with Sunderland’s Trai Hume alongside Premier League rivals Everton. But after winning promotion to the Premier League, it is possible they could want over £20 million for the youngster.
That is a hefty price to pay for someone unproven at the top level of English football, with arguably better options out there, including Kyle Walker-Peters on a free transfer.
Pereira is also shopping for attacking reinforcements, and reports emerged yesterday that Wolves are interested in Millwall striker Mihailo Ivanovic.
After trying to sign Japhet Tanganga from there in the January transfer window, the Wanderers know that Millwall will hold out for a hefty transfer fee.
The 20-year-old centre-forward did score 12 Championship goals last term, though, and could be someone capable of stepping up.
