Adam leaving Everton Set Piece Coach role

In March 2017, Adam told TGG how he felt about set pieces as a player, saying: “I love taking free-kicks and corners. If someone scores from my delivery, it’s just as good as scoring a goal myself.”

The former Scotland international, who won 26 caps for his country, played as a midfielder for Rangers, Blackpool, Liverpool, Stoke City, Reading and Dundee. He started his off-field career by becoming Burnley’s first Loans Manager.

It is the second backroom change in quick succession at Everton after Head of Recruitment Dan Purdy left the club after more than a decade to become the new Technical Director at Rangers earlier this week.
