Despite a stellar individual season culminating in 30 goals and 7 assists across all competitions for Fenerbahçe, Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri is reportedly seeking an exit from the club ahead of the new season according to Fanatik.
A primary factor cited for his desire to leave is the persistent criticism he has faced from sections of the fanbase, even while consistently delivering on the pitch.

En-Nesyri, who was acquired by Fenerbahçe from Sevilla for a record €19.5 million at the beginning of the season, closed out the Süper Lig campaign with a 2-1 victory over Konyaspor.
However, the prolific 28-year-old’s impressive statistics appear to have done little to quell the discontent from some supporters.
During the mid-season transfer window, Fenerbahçe’s management reportedly rebuffed offers from Saudi Arabian clubs, including bids in the region of €30 million, opting to retain their key forward.
However, it is now considered highly probable that En-Nesyri will depart before the start of the next season.
Adding to the growing transfer speculation, English Premier League club Aston Villa has emerged as a potential suitor for the Moroccan international.
Sources suggest that the well-established Premier League side may submit an official offer to Fenerbahçe for En-Nesyri in the coming days.
Should Aston Villa formalize their interest, it would present Fenerbahçe with a decision to make regarding their significant investment in the player. While his goal-scoring record is undeniable, the reported disconnect between En-Nesyri and a segment of the fanbase, coupled with the financial proposals, could pave the way for his departure from Istanbul.
