Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim will likely want to make alterations to his squad this summer, following one of the worst campaign’s in the Red Devils’ recent history.
United finished 15th in the Premier League last term and therefore failed to qualify for European competition, missing the opportunity to do so as they were beaten by Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.
While Amorim only took charge of the club in November last year, the Portuguese is already under pressure to turn his side’s fortunes around.
With that in mind, he will likely want to add to his squad during this summer’s transfer window.
Now, it appears that the Manchester club have been impressed by a Serie A youngster.
According to CaughtOffside, United have been scouting Como attacking midfielder Nico Paz and have been hugely impressed by the player.

The 20-year-old joined Cesc Fabregas’ Como from Real Madrid last summer, having struggled to force his way into the first team at his former club.
Since moving to Italy, the midfielder has played 35 times for Como, scoring six goals and providing nine assists.
While United have been impressed by the youngster’s progress, they could face competition from his former side Real Madrid in the race to land the player.
Real have the option to re-sign Paz for a fee of around £6.7 million, due to a buy-back clause that was included in the deal that took him to Italy.
New Real boss Xabi Alonso is said to be a huge admirer of the versatile midfielder, who can also play as a striker or on the right flank.
Paz is under contract with Como until the end of the 2027/28 season, but United and Real Madrid could both attempt to lure him away from the club this summer.
