Liverpool are reportedly ready to part ways with long-serving defender Joe Gomez after nearly a decade at Anfield.
Joe Gomez Gears Up for Life Beyond Anfield
Joe Gomez switched from the Championship team to the top division side for £12.5 million. He has had a difficult time at Anfield with injuries and limited playing time. He looks likely to leave Liverpool in the summer after he joined them from Charlton Athletic in 2015
🗞️ Leeds, Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Everton, and West Ham are all interested in a deal to sign Joe Gomez.

The Englishman, at the age of 28, has won the Premier League twice with Liverpool and has won the UCL as well. He is also a versatile player who has played at left back and as a centre back. But, he has seen a fall in action in the 2024–25 season.
The defender has only featured 17 times, and played less than 900 minutes. The Reds have placed a price of around €30 million (£25.3 million) on him. Now, that has got interest from top English sides.
Premier League Clubs Circle as Liverpool Prepare to Sell
At least eight PL clubs have shown interest in Gomez. Those include the likes of Newcastle United, West Ham, Aston Villa, and even rivals Everton. Leeds United, Burnley, and Sunderland, three newly promoted teams will also play a part in the bidding.
Gomez can cover many positions which will give a team looking for depth and experience many options. He has always been available, but never as a potential starter. Now, with his Anfield chapter nearing its end, the Reds will need to find someone of the same reliability off the bench.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is joining Brentford. And winger Luis Diaz also faces an uncertain future amid interest from Saudi clubs. A summer of change looks likely for the PL champions. So, Gomez’s exit will mark the end of a solid, sometimes quiet, Liverpool career.
