Nottingham Forest star proposed to club – Manager approves move, €20m needed

Nottingham Forest’s Callum Hudson-Odoi has been on the radar of Serie A clubs over the past few weeks and his exit looks possible.

NapoliNetwork have reported on the winger’s future and they state Napoli are interested in the player.

This development has taken place after Huson-Odoi was proposed to the Italian champions and Antonio Conte is now keen on the move. This has been expressed to the club and now, it’s said Nottingham Forest’s demands for the player have also emerged.

The outlet states that the Tricky Trees want a fee of €20m to let Hudson-Odoi depart, with the wide player currently earning a wage of €5m per season.

That is affordable for Napoli, who believe that the 24-year-old also has a solid future resale value.

As a result, they have asked Nottingham Forest about the transfer and are willing to offer an initial fee of €15m to land Hudson-Odoi on a permanent transfer.

Whether the €20m claim is correct is questionable and it’s almost certain €15m wouldn’t be enough.
