Xabi Alonso is said to be a huge admirer of Nico Paz. Madrid view the Argentine as long term successor of Luka Modric. But, the player can opt against the move if he is not guaranteed a regular spot. The situation will also depend on what happens at Como.

Cesc Fabregas is wanted by Inter Milan as new head coach. Earlier, the manager rejected offers from top clubs to stay at Como. If he does that again, he can convince Paz to stay at Como. Otherwise, the Argentine can leave for bigger club.
