Jude Bellingham has shared a photo of himself and new Real Madrid teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold training with England days after Liverpool sold their vice-captain.

Alexander-Arnold completed a £10million move to Madrid when the summer transfer window opened on Sunday. He and Bellingham spent the day together as the England squad attended the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

The Three Lions are to play Andorra in Barcelona on Saturday as part of their World Cup qualification campaign. Therefore, they went straight to Spain rather than first coming together at St George's Park as the team usually does.

After watching the F1 on Sunday, they have started working at their training camp in Girona this week. England shared photos from their session on Tuesday across social media.

Bellingham reposted two of their seven images on his Instagram story. The first shows him and Trevoh Chalobah sitting on footballs out on the pitches.

In the second, Bellingham has the ball at his feet during an exercise and is about to take on Alexander-Arnold, who wears a white bib to differentiate between the two teams. Additional photos from the session show the midfielder holding off his new club teammate before passing the ball to another player.

He will no doubt have, by now, welcomed Alexander-Arnold in person after liking the announcement post Madrid shared last Friday. Both players are to feature for England against Andorra on Saturday, then again on Tuesday for a friendly with Senegal at the City Ground, home of Nottingham Forest.

They will then join up with Madrid before the Club World Cup begins later this month. Their tournament starts with a group stage game versus Al-Hilal, followed by playing Pachuca and Red Bull Salzburg.

The latter and former will be in Miami Gardens, Florida. In between those fixtures, they play Pachuca in Charlotte, North Carolina.
