Everton have been linked with a move for Liverpool winger Ben Doak this summer after a successful loan spell at Middlesbrough.
The Toffees are expected to spend well in the upcoming transfer window, with David Moyes keen to improve several positions ahead of their move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium next season.
Everton can spend between £50m-£100m this summer. That is according to football finance expert Kieran Maguire, who also believes that the estimate could increase if Moyes decides to sell players.
Everton have been linked with Liverpool winger Ben Doak. The 19-year-old has just returned from a loan spell at Championship side Middlesbrough and is believed to be of interest to Moyes this summer.
Reports have stated that Doak will cost Everton around £30m this summer, a deal they should be able to afford.
With Everton looking to add more quality in attack this summer, journalist David Lynch has shared the latest he has heard on their interest in Doak.

Liverpool journalist confirms Everton’s interest in Ben Doak
Should he sign, Doak will be the first player to join Everton from Liverpool since Gary Ablett in 1992. A 33-year streak would be broken if the young winger made the short move across the city.
Attacking quality was a problem for Everton in the 2024/25 campaign. Although it did get better under Moyes, the Scot is eager to improve his options.

Speaking to Anfield Index, Lynch confirmed Everton’s interest in Doak is there, and there are two other Premier League clubs looking for his signature.
“100% there’s interest there and I think it would be a really good move for Doak to be honest,” Lynch said.
“I would predict pretty comfortably that Everton won’t be in a relegation battle next season and he can also stay local.”
“There’s a lot that could appeal to him in that move.
“AFC Bournemouth are also interested I believe and Crystal Palace have been interested previously, so there’s a few clubs in the mix,”
“I do think he will move permanently this summer and I’m going to stick to my guns on that one.”
Whether Liverpool are open to selling Ben Doak to Everton
At 19, there is no doubt Doak has the capability to become a quality Premier League player, and Moyes will recognise that.
However, Liverpool will also recognise his potential and are not willing to let him leave in a hurry.

Liverpool are going to assess Doak in pre-season before making a final decision on his future. Their stance suggests this will be a transfer saga that lasts the majority of the window, and he may not be signed by the Toffees until the final days of August.
Everton fans are not interested in signing Doak due to his £30m price tag, but that does not look like it will stop Moyes from pursuing the player this summer.
