The Blues are keen on reinforcing their goalkeeping unit in the summer transfer window. So, the 29-year-old AC Milan shot-stopper has emerged as a target for the West London club.
The Blues have already approached the Serie A club to sound out a move for the Frenchman. Maignan has yet to sign a new contract with AC Milan, with Chelsea aware of his situation at San Siro. The former LOSC Lille goalkeeper is high on the West London club’s wishlist, and the final decision on his future will rest with the Rossoneri.
