The representative of Paris Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has quashed rumours of a surprise move to Manchester United by confirming ongoing negotiations with his current club over a new deal. Donnarumma, 26, played a part in PSG's Champions League final triumph on Saturday, where they trounced Inter Milan 5-0 in Munich — although he wasn't heavily tested during the match.
This marks the second European title for the former AC Milan keeper, who was Italy's hero at Euro 2020 with two crucial penalty saves in the final against England. He joined PSG on a five-year contract after leaving Milan under contentious circumstances.
With his current contract set to expire in June 2026, there have been reports this week that Manchester United hold an interest in signing him. United's manager Ruben Amorim is reportedly keen on bringing in a new goalkeeper due to concerns about Andre Onana, but the club isn't looking to make a significant investment — unless their main goalkeeper opts to depart.

Foot Mercato, via GFFN, this week reported that United have an interest in signing the Italian shotstopper, with his agent now responding to the rumours. Enzo Raiola – cousin of the late renowned agent Mino Raiola – has dismissed such speculation as 'pure fantasy'.
Raiola emphasised that their focus is on discussions with PSG to prolong Donnarumma's tenure in the French capital. "It's pure fantasy. I've an excellent relationship with Director Giovanni Manna at [Napoli], but we've never discussed Gigio," Raiola stated to Radio CRC, as reported by Calciomercato, via the Mirror.
"It's an obvious question. Many would like him, but only a few can afford him. He feels good in Paris, we're at the European champion club, so we have no complaints. We are working on a renewal [with PSG]."
However, Raiola did not dismiss the possibility of a future move to Napoli for Donnarumma, who hails from Castellammare, a town in the Metropolitan City of Naples. "His mother is a huge Napoli fan, and she gets anxious watching their games. Gigio is connected to that," his agent added.
"He grew up as a Milan supporter, watching his older brothers in a Rossoneri shirt, but he never denied his roots. In fact, his first stop during the holidays is always Castellammare."
Donnarumma's form took a hit in the early part of the season, but he and his teammates found their stride after the winter break, clinching the treble. His crucial saves against Premier League teams Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal in the Champions League knockout stages were instrumental to Luis Enrique's triumphant side.
