Arsenal has announced that twenty players will leave the club this summer. Among the updates, the club also confirmed that discussions are ongoing with [Chloe Kelly](https://womenfootball.blog/potential-transfer-for-chloe-kelly/). Kelly joined Arsenal on loan in January and appears to have rediscovered her passion for the game. “I want to play football, and it’s important that I stay focused on my job and what I can do on the pitch,” she said.
**Lina Hurtig**
The Swedish international joined Arsenal in the summer of 2022 from Juventus. She played a total of 34 Serie A games for the Italian club, scoring 19 goals and registering 9 assists. This earned her a transfer to Arsenal, where she was unfortunately unavailable for most of the 2024/2025 season due to personal reason.
She made a total of 36 appearances for The Gunners, scoring seven goals – including a crucial one against her former club Juventus in the Women’s Champions League qualifiers. Her goal secured a ticket to the knock-out stages for Arsenal, who will play in the Final on May 24, against reigning champions FC Barcelona.
“Everyone at Arsenal Football Club would like to thank Lina for her contribution to the club, and we wish her well for her next chapter,” the club stated.
**Amanda Ilestedt**
The defender left Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023 to make the move to Arsenal. In her 23 appearances for The Gunners, she scored three goals and was instrumental in the League Cup win in March 2024.
Ilestedt had a standout year in 2023, finishing third with Sweden at the World Cup. That same year she was nominated for Best FIFA Women’s Player Award and the Ballon d’Or.
“Everyone at Arsenal Football Club would like to thank Amanda for her contribution to the club and we wish her and her family all the best for the future,” the club stated
**Teyah Goldie** departs Arsenal at the end of the season. She was on loan with the London City Lionesses in the 2024/2025 season. The club secured promotion to the WSL.
