Arsenal have [confirmed](https://www.arsenal.com/news/contract-updates-20-players-depart-summer) that they are in talks with Michal Rosiak regarding a new contract.
The Poland youth international, 19, was one of Arsenal’s standout performers at U21 level last season and also received his first competitive callup to the senior squad as he was named on the bench against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
A free-kick specialist who can play at right-back or in midfield, Rosiak frequently trained with the first-team squad towards the end of last season.
After signing scholarship terms in 2022 he progressed to a professional contract in April 2023, becoming the first member of that group to do so.
Rosiak has played over 30 times for Arsenal U21s and also featured for the U19s in the UEFA Youth League.
If Rosiak remains at Arsenal for next season then it is possible that he could go on loan for the first time.
