Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca will be looking ahead to the Club World Cup, which takes place later this month.
The Italian guided the Blues to the Europa Conference League last month, making the West London side the first club to win all three UEFA club competitions after lifting both the Champions League and Europa League.
Domestically, Maresca oversaw a steady campaign in his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge.
At Christmas the Blues sat second in the top flight table, but they had to rely on a strong finish to the campaign to qualify for the Champions League after a blip at the start of 2025.
Away from the action, it appears that the London side are set to continue spending significant amounts of money in the transfer window this summer.
Now, though, it appears that Chelsea may struggle to agree a deal to sign one of their transfer targets.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and AC Milan are currently far apart in their valuations of goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

The journalist claims that the Italian side value Maignan at around £25 million, while the Blues believe he is worth around £8 million due to the fact that his contract is set to expire in just over a year.
Maignan, 29, has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe in recent seasons, having joined Milan from French side Lille in 2021.
Since his move, the Frenchman has kept 59 clean sheets in 163 games for Milan, helping them to the Serie A title in 2022.
Romano claims that Chelsea have decided that they will not wait beyond Monday to agree a deal for Maignan, as they are happy with the current crop of goalkeepers available to Maresca.
Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen, who both featured last season, are set to be joined by Kepa Arrizabalaga and Djordje Petrovic this summer, although it remains to be seen which of the ‘keepers will depart Stamford Bridge.
