Everton look set for a summer of change ahead of next season’s Premier League campaign.
The Toffees waved goodbye to Goodison Park with a 2-0 win over Southampton on the penultimate day of the season, with their shiny new Bramley-Moore home ready to house the club next season.
The changes to their surroundings have also been mirrored by recent changes behind the scenes. The Friedkin Group are set to oversee their first transfer window since taking over control of the Merseysiders back in December.
They are expected to hand David Moyes a significant budget to work with over the summer, which will provide scope for the Scotsman to take the team to the next level after he transformed their fortunes in the second half of the season.

Everton agree fee for Sheffield Wednesday youngster
Money is now likely to be more readily available for Moyes and the recruitment department following the takeover, and while he will no doubt have plenty of areas where he wants to improve the squad, the club understandably have an eye on the future as well.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
The Toffees are understood to be nearing a potential deal for Sheffield Wednesday’s highly-rated youngster Caelan-Kole Cadamarteri, according to The Star (4 June).
They are one of three Premier League sides, alongside Manchester City and Chelsea, who have met the Owls’ valuation of £1.5million for the 15-year-old, with add-ons also to come.
Wednesday are once again undergoing financial issues, and it’s believed that chairman, Dejphon Chansiri, is eager to ensure the club receive a significant fee up front, with the potential for that figure to increase over time.
Cadamarteri recently top scored in the U18s Professional Development League, having found the back of the net on 24 occasions, and has also already represented both England and Scotland at youth level.
The frontman has been earmarked as an outstanding talent for some time now in South Yorkshire, and with the fee agreed with several clubs, it will be left to the youngster to decide where he would like to move.

Everton should take the opportunity to invest in youth
Now that Moyes will potentially have a little more money to play with after Farhad Moshiri’s departure, it could be the perfect time for the club to try and place a little more focus on bringing through the next generation of talent.
Jake O’Brien has become a key part of Moyes’ plans in recent months, while Nathan Patterson has previously shown plenty of promise when he has been handed Premier League opportunities.
Throw in the likes of Harrison Armstrong, who has already had exposure to first-team football and impressed on loan at Derby County last season, and there is plenty of reason to believe the future could be bright in L3.
If the club could win the race for Cadamarteri’s services, he would be another player who would have expectations of breaking through into the first-team at some point in the future.
At times in the last few years, Everton have spent badly and wasted money in the process. By targeting younger players, they should be able to build a core of promising talent with substantial resale value.
