Chelsea are interested to sign a new goalkeeper. They are not impressed with Robert Sanchez. The Spaniard has made multiple errors which have costed the Blues. As a result, they are planning to move-on from him.

On the other hand, Man United are desperate to sign a new keeper. Andrea Onana has completely failed to make his mark at Old Trafford. As a result, the Red Devils are planning to sell him. Both, United and Chelsea are now monitoring a same keeper from Serie A.

The star in question here is Mile Svilar. He is 25 years old and currently plays for AS Roma. According to Caught Offside, the talks between Svilar and Roma for new contract have broken down. The player wants €3.5 million per year but the club is unwilling to pay above €1.6 million.

As a result, Svilar can leave Roma this season. He is wanted by multiple clubs including Man United and Chelsea. The report adds that €35 million can be enough to get the deal over the line. The player can be easily convinced as both of these are amongst biggest clubs in the world.

Chelsea are currently focused on Mike Maignan. Hence, United can have lead in the race for Svilar. But, the Serbian will need to give up on European football atleast for one season. Lastly, there are multiple others keeping tabs on the 25 year old keeper.

Svilar looks fit to play in top clubs. He played 51 games across all competitions for Roma this season. He was superb in Serie A where he started all 38 games. Svilar registered amazing amount of 16 clean sheets. He made 118 saves with 77.1% save percentage.
