CLEVELAND, Ohio — Free-agent receiver Gabe Davis, having played for Jacksonville in 2024, will [reportedly travel and meet](https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/1929894678880506145) with the Pittsburgh Steelers today and Thursday.
A 2020 fourth-round draftee, Davis played four seasons in Buffalo, before moving onto Jacksonville this past season.
Davis was part of Buffalo’s win over Cleveland in 2022, catching five of his seven targets for 68 yards.
He then took part in Jacksonville’s loss to Cleveland in 2024, and was limited to three catches on seven targets for 43 yards.
As for the Steelers, their receiver group is something they’ve added to and subtracted from this offseason.
They traded a second-rounder from this year’s draft to Seattle, for DK Metcalf, the multi-time Pro Bowler and one time second-team All-Pro.
Then Pittsburgh traded its main target, George Pickens, to Dallas for a 2026 third-rounder and 2027 fifth-rounder.
Furthermore, third-string tight end Donald Parham Jr. suffered a torn Achilles in OTAs this week.
The Browns and Steelers are scheduled to play Oct. 12 in Pittsburgh and Dec. 28 in Cleveland.
