This summer’s transfer market is set to be a busy one, with a host of big-name arrivals and departures touted among Premier League clubs.

Arsenal are looking to bolster their forward line to help them finally clinch the title after finishing runners-up for three successive seasons.

Newcastle will be looking to add to a squad that has returned to the Champions League, while Manchester United want to rebuild their team after enduring their worst-ever Premier League season. The Red Devils have moved quickly after agreeing to a deal with Wolves to sign Brazil forward Matheus Cunha, taking advantage of an early summer transfer window that runs until Tuesday, 10 June.

The window will then remain shut for six days before reopening on Monday, 16 June, until 7pm on Monday, 1 September.

The move was introduced to help clubs participating in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup next month and enable Premier League sides to register players in time for the tournament. It also means that all top-flight sides can officially start their transfer business, and bet365 has all the latest odds for big-name signings and Premier League departures.

Viktor Gyokeres

Formerly of Brighton and Coventry City, Sweden international Gyokeres has proven a revelation at sporting, netting 43 goals in all competitions during his maiden season in 2023/24.

While Manchester United appeared the most obvious destination for Gyokeres, following the Red Devils' appointment of Ruben Amorim as the club's new manager, Arsenal now lead the betting odds to sign the Swede.

Alejandro Garnacho

Only 18 months ago, the Argentinian forward had United fans thinking they’d found their next hero when he netted a spectacular overhead kick against Everton. That strike saw the youngster win the annual FIFA Puskas Award.

However, speculation has increased about his future after he was dropped from United’s starting line-up for the Europa League final against Tottenham.

Serie A champions Napoli are the big favourites to sign the 20-year-old, although a Premier League switch to Chelsea is also a possibility.

Darwin Nunez

It’s been a difficult season for the Uruguayan forward, who arrived at Anfield for a reported £85m. He scored just five goals in 30 Premier League appearances last season, and could not secure a regular starting place in the side.

It was reported that the Reds rejected a £70m bid from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal in the January transfer window.

But Atletico Madrid are odds-on favourites to sign the 25-year-old, with Diego Simeone said to like the player’s physical style.

Emiliano Martinez

World Cup winner Martinez joined Villa in a £20 million deal from Arsenal in September 2020, quickly becoming a favourite with the fans at Villa Park.

But he is now favourite to head to Atletico Madrid, with reports that Jan Oblak may depart the Spanish club this summer.

Several Saudi Arabian clubs are also rumoured to be interested in bringing the stopper to the Saudi Pro League, and Manchester United could look to Martinez if the club opts to seek a replacement for Andre Onana.

Jack Grealish

The 29-year-old made a £100m British record transfer to Manchester City in 2021, but struggled for game time last season, and was left out of the squad entirely for the club’s end-of-season trip to Fulham.

He has also lost his place in the England team, but a summer move could help the forward regain his place in this summer’s World Cup squad.

If he does leave the Etihad Stadium, a move to Italy appears most likely, with Napoli said to be interested in signing the former Aston Villa captain.
