Stockport County, Blackpool and Hibernian Target Man UTD Attacker Ethan Williams
Ethan Williams, who spent the latter half of last season on loan with League Two outfit Cheltenham Town, has become the target of interest from Stockport County, Blackpool and Hibernian as they look to bolster their squads this summer.
The 19-year-old scored two goals and provided two assists in 17 appearances totalling 778 minutes during his time with the Robins. Stockport County Unearthing Talent & Bruce Connections
Stockport County only narrowly missed out on promotion to the Championship last season and will likely go again in the upcoming campaign. Dave Challinor’s side have become a hotbed for talent, boasting some of the best stars in League One. The club are also in close proximity to parent club Man Utd, meaning that the player can continue to have links with his youth teammates at Carrington.
Steve Bruce on the other hand will likely be looking to use some of his contacts to strengthen Blackpool, the experienced boss has Premier League pedigree as well as being a Manchester United great from his playing days. He will be hoping his connections with the club will convince him to move to the Seasiders.
Hibernian offer a different opportunity, the chance to play top flight football, albeit in Scotland against some top talent from the likes of Celtic and Rangers. The pressure on Hibs players can also be enormous as they look to outdo their neighbours. Which could provide an opportunity that is not available in League One football.
