Packers legend Donald Driver to host, compete in charity pickleball tournament

ALLOUEZ, Wis. (WBAY) – Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame wide receiver Donald Driver will be back in Northeast Wisconsin on Saturday, trading in his cleats for a pickleball paddle as he is set to host and participate in the Donald Driver Foundation Pickleball Classic.

“It’s going to be a big shebang,” Driver said.  “A lot of fun, raise a lot of money for a great cause.”

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Boys and Girls Club in Green Bay. Roughly 200 players are signed up to play across 11 divisions at the Four Seasons Tennis Club in Allouez. Competition starts at 8 AM with Driver signed up to play in the Men’s Doubles Advanced Division at 4 PM. Action 2 News This Morning Anchor Emerson Lehmann is also competing in the division.

Driver has recently taken on pickleball and co-owns a Pickleball Kingdom in Menomonee Falls. He has plans to open another Pickleball Kingdom in Green Bay in early 2026. He’s excited to return to Green Bay on Saturday to help spread the word.

June 7th. Saturday 7th, we will actually be in Green Bay at the Four Seasons Tennis (Club), that’s where we’re going to play until Pickleball Kingdom is actually built,” Driver said.
