Manchester United are showing serious interest in a summer move for Fiorentina forward Moise Kean, journalist Eleonora Trotta has revealed.
The Red Devils are reportedly considering activating the Italy international’s €52m (£43m) release clause, having identified him as a potential striker target.
United are believed to have monitored Kean extensively this season and have not ruled out a move after missing out on Ipswich Town sensation Liam Delap.
The England U21 international has turned down a switch to Old Trafford in favour of Chelsea and is now close to completing the move, with an official announcement expected in the coming days.

Man United have already confirmed Matheus Cunha as their first summer arrival and are expected to bring in at least two more forwards to bolster Ruben Amorim’s attacking options.
The Red Devils are now anticipated to move for Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo and could also target a new striker, with Kean emerging as a strong option after an impressive campaign.
The ‘exceptional’ Italy international has enjoyed a career-best season in Italy, scoring 25 goals and providing three assists in 44 appearances for Fiorentina.
He finished second among Serie A’s top scorers with 19 goals, behind only Genoa’s Mateo Retegui, who netted 25 times.
Kean also has Premier League experience from his time at Everton, where he made 32 top-flight appearances and scored twice.
The 25-year-old spent the 2019/20 season at Goodison Park and was loaned to Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus over the following two campaigns.
