Ineos are eager to offload both Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho in the summer transfer window.
Manchester United will rely on player sales this summer in order to fund their own transfer business.
Ideally, Ineos want to raise £100 million in sales but so far it has proven difficult to offload players with Chelsea paying £5m to back out of the Jadon Sancho deal.
Marcus Rashford is expected to leave after returning from Aston Villa, while Antony and Alejandro Garnacho are also headed for the exit.
Rashford’s ‘dream’ is to join Barcelona and the Spanish side are showing interest, but there are a few hurdles before a deal can be struck.

What Marcus Rashford is willing to do to join Barcelona
After spending the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at Villa, the Premier League club refused the chance to sign Marcus Rashford for £40 million after missing out on Champions League football.
Now, United are trying to find other £40m buyers for Rashford and Barcelona appears the most likely destination.
However, Rashford is earning £300,000 per week at United and Barcelona’s financial struggles mean they are not willing to match that salary if he makes a move to Camp Nou.
However, Marca journalist Luis Rojo claims Rashford is willing to accept a pay cut in order to complete a move to Barcelona this summer.
During talks with Chelsea, Sancho refused to accept a wage cut to join the London outfit, which is why he is set to return to United at the end of the month.
Ineos now face £325,000 Jadon Sancho issue
While Rashford is willing to drop his pay to play football elsewhere, Jadon Sancho decided to make an awkward return to Manchester.
Sancho is understood to be earning around £325,000 per week and Chelsea wanted him to nearly half his pay to make a permanent move to Stamford Bridge.
Now with one year remaining on Sancho’s contract, Ineos face the difficult task of offloading the 25-year-old before being stuck with him for the 2025/26 campaign.

One option is for Ineos to terminate Sancho’s contract, but it would come at a considerable cost that would put a dent in the summer transfer budget.
Borussia Dortmund have shown interest in Sancho, but once again it comes down to whether the player is willing to take a significant pay cut to move.
