Ruben Amorim's talented Man Utd attacker is now on transfer radar for four clubs, ex-Red Devils man's team shows interest

Alejandro Garnacho reportedly has four different European clubs eyeing him up after Ruben Amorim is ready to let the Manchester United player leave Old Trafford.

The 20-year-old Spain-born attacker’s future at the club has been cast in doubt in recent months, despite his importance to the Manchester United first team.

Alejandro Garnacho made 58 appearances across all competitions for United in the 2024-25 campaign and he scored 11 times and registered 10 assists for the club.

The winger is under contract with United until 2028 and Garnacho has established himself in the first team at Old Trafford after emerging from the youth academy.

However, United have reportedly been open to selling Garnacho and the Red Devils would benefit from the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Garnacho’s time at the club has come under even more of the spotlight after his criticism following United’s 2025 Europa League final defeat to Tottenham in May.

Alejandro Garnacho’s fractured relationship with Ruben Amorim has opened the door for Man Utd star’s Old Trafford exit this summer

Alejandro Garnacho was included in Manchester United’s post-season tour of Asia, despite voicing his frustration over being dropped for the Europa League final.

The Red Devils talent came off the bench in United’s 1-0 Europa League final loss to Tottenham and Garnacho was baffled at why he didn’t start the match in Bilbao.

Roberto Garnacho also stoked the flames further after he came to his brother’s defence on social media and suggested that the winger was “thrown under the bus.”

According to The Athletic in May, United manager Ruben Amorim pulled no punches towards the Argentina winger and told him to look for a new club in the summer.

Diario AS now cites a report from The Guardian that both Chelsea and Napoli ‘want to secure the services’ of Garnacho, having previously been linked with the player.

Chelsea and Napoli had been interested in Garnacho amid the January transfer window, but the Argentina international remained at Old Trafford.

The Spanish newspaper added that another club that is now ‘keeping an eye’ on Garnacho’s future ‘in the coming weeks’ is Premier League side Aston Villa.

Bayer Leverkusen’s transfer interest in Alejandro Garnacho could reunite him with former Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag

Erik ten Hag was sacked as United manager in 2024 after a poor start to the 2024-25 Premier League campaign, but the Dutchman has now returned to management.

Xabi Alonso’s exit from Bayer Leverkusen and his appointment at Real Madrid opened the door for Erik ten Hag to succeed him at the German club in May.

Ten Hag was a big fan of Garnacho during his time at Old Trafford and the Argentina international became a regular starter under the 55-year-old Dutchman.

According to AS, Bayer Leverkusen are now interested in Garnacho and Ten Hag is now ‘considering him as a replacement’ for Liverpool-bound Florian Wirtz.

The Spanish publication added that the Bayer Leverkusen boss ‘knows’ Chelsea and Napoli target Garnacho ‘very well’ after their time together at Old Trafford.
