Florian Wirtz has seemingly confirmed that he is going to be a Liverpool player this summer.
Wirtz was part of the German national team that were narrowly beaten by Portugal in the semi final of the UEFA Nations League on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old put in a stellar performance and scored Germany’s only goal of the night.
However, his effort was not enough to see German through to the final as they were beaten 2-1 by Cristiano Ronaldo and co.

However, despite what was a disappointing night for Germany, Wirtz gave Liverpool fans something to cheer about by seemingly confirming he will join the club this summer.
After the game, Wirtz was asked by journalist Lewis Steele if he was excited about joining Liverpool, to which he simply nodded in approval.
