LAKE FOREST, Ill., — For the limited open sessions of practice so far in 2025, it has been the defense that is one step ahead of the offense for the Chicago Bears. But on Wednesday, it was Caleb Williams and the offense that made the headlines on day two of minicamp at Halas Hall.

The offense won the day, led by an impressive two-minute drill for the first-team offense under Williams. Williams had a few other throws and scrambles on the drive as he looked poised throughout it. Ben Johnson took notice, as well.
