Yet, despite already having a youthful team, their farm system remains strong. In fact, Baseball America recently highlighted the organization’s depth by ranking four Brewers prospects within their top 35 overall.

Jesus Made, Milwaukee Brewers, Brewers prospects
Milwaukee Brewers shortstop prospect Jesus Made prepares to hit during spring training workouts Monday, February 17, 2025, at American Family Fields of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona.
In Low-A Carolina, Jesus Made and Luis Pena have both played several games at shortstop and third base, with Made playing more at shortstop. Up in Double-A, Cooper Pratt is a minor league gold glove award winner at shortstop. This core could sync up at some point in their development and form a formidable infield.
Offensively, Made and Pena are having great seasons so far. Made has an .840 OPS with 21 stolen bases and Pena .964 OPS with 23 stolen bases. Pratt has started the year off slow, evidenced by a .230/.313/.350 slash line.
With a competitive roster already fueled by homegrown talent, the Brewers are proving that their pipeline is far from drying up. The recognition from Baseball America not only reinforces the strength of Milwaukee’s farm system but also signals that more impact players could be on the horizon. For a team that values sustainability and smart development, the future continues to look bright.
