Ian Wright Predicts That£60M Rated Forward Will Go To“Another Level”If He Seals Man United Transfer

**Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright says Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo could realise his full potential if he completes his move to Manchester United.**

The Cameroon international is reportedly keen on making the switch to Old Trafford, and Wright believes he would be a great addition for the Red Devils:

“You know something, if he goes to United, I think that he’s somebody that, if he gets in the moments that he’s had for Brentford, for United, he will then realise where he is. Because he goes to another level with the attention from United.”

There are still a couple of issues that could potentially prevent [**Mbeumo**](https://manunews.com/blog/man-united-transfer-news-bryan-mbeumo-four-things-fans-need-to-know/)‘s move to United: his wage demands and his price tag.

It is believed that the forward wants a salary in the region of £250,000 a week, which is 5.5 times more than what he is currently earning. Brentford are also hoping for a fee in excess of £60m.

Neither request is said to be an insurmountable issue but they could potentially delay a deal being completed.

Mbeumo would add much-needed goals to the attack

------------------------------------------------

The 25-year-old scored 20 times in the Premier League last season, which is more goals than Rasmus Hojlund, Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho managed combined.

Of course, representing the Red Devils is very different to playing for a team like Brentford, but there is no doubt that Mbeumo poses a serious threat to the opponent’s goal

He has prioritised a move to United over other clubs

----------------------------------------------------

Prior to this week, Mbeumo was also attracting interest from Wright’s former club, Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle.

However, Ruben Amorim’s side have managed to get the approval of the player. That is half the battle. Working out the financial details to make the deal happen is now the focus.
