Standout Chelsea attacker Johanna Rytting Kaneryd has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract extension, the club announced yesterday, with the 28-year-old Sweden international thus committing her future to the team through 2027.
The season just past was Kaneryd’s third with the Blues after joining from BK Häcken in 2022, and it was her best yet, with five goals and several assists across all competitions. Many of those were key contributions to our unbeaten, Treble-winning domestic season, with JRK at times taking over and absolutely dominating games. Would love to see that even more often from her!
