Everton are working their way through a list of summer transfer targets.
The Toffees are exploring a deal to sign Villarreal’s Theirno Barry, who outscored Lamine Yamal in La Liga last season.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Yves Bissouma has emerged as an Everton target over the last 48 hours, with the 28-year-old out of contract next year.
David Moyes is also keen to shop in the Championship and Sheffield United’s Gustavo Hamer is being linked to Goodison Park.
Perhaps the most heavily linked Everton target at the moment is Nick Woltemade, who netted 17 goals last term.
Moyes has been in contact with Stuttgart over Woltemade and would’ve had another chance to see him last night, as Germany faced Portugal.

Germany suffered a 2-1 defeat to Portugal in the UEFA Nations League play-offs last night and Everton target Woltemade made his debut.
The 23-year-old was named in Julen Nagelsmann’s starting line-up and played 60 minutes before being replaced by West Ham United’s Niclas Fullkrug.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Here’s what SportBild had to say about his performance.
3/10 – “The currently in-form German striker made his senior debut against Portugal. He had a great chance to make it 1-0 after 19 minutes, following a one-two with Pavlovic, but his misplaced shot was denied by Costa.
“He worked hard but didn’t always get through. He helped score the opening goal by blocking Rúben Dias, creating space for Wirtz.”
Express stated.
4/10 – “The rookie actually had the first chance to score. However, he also seemed a bit rushed and lacking commitment in some of his moves.”
Get German Football added.
5/10 – “You could tell this was Woltemade’s first game for the senior national team, as he struggled to get into the game.
“We all know the qualities that the 23-year-old does bring, but none of them were on show tonight.”
Woltemade’s stats vs Portugal
Indeed, it’s only one game, but if Moyes was watching last night, Woltemade’s display can’t have filled him with much confidence.
The towering number nine missed his only opportunity and was really wasteful in possession, as per the Sofascore statistics.
61 minutes
1 shot on target
2/6 duels won
0 aerial duels won
7 possession lost
If Everton decide against pursuing a deal to sign Woltemade, they may turn their attention to Al-Hilal forward Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Mitrovic had a meeting about his future this week, with a number of Premier League clubs, including the Toffees, interested.
