Daizen Maeda references ‘next season’ amid Celtic exit links
Daizen Maeda has commented on what he wants to achieve next season, whether it be at Celtic or not.
Fenerbahce have been linked with signing Maeda and reportedly want to offer the Hoops over €10m for the Japanese speedster.
Speaking as a guest of honour at his old club Mito HollyHock, Maeda said: “I was in great form this season, both personally and so were the team. So I’d like to keep it going next season.
“I am who I am because of my team, Celtic. I’d like to thank my teammates and, above all, my family for supporting me so far.
“I’d be happy if I could score more goals next season. I hope the number of goals will continue to increase.”
PAOK make ‘offer’ to sign Greg Taylor
Celtic left-back Greg Taylor has reportedly been offered a two-year deal to sign for Greek side PAOK.
Taylor’s contract at Parkhead will expire at the end of the month and it is very unlikely he will sign a new deal.
MORE CELTIC STORIES
PAOK have identified Taylor as their main defensive transfer target this summer and are said to have offered him a bigger salary than what he currently gets at Celtic.

Kieran Tierney’s final Arsenal interview
Kieran Tierney has given his final interview as an Arsenal player as the North London club officially confirmed his exit.
Tierney will return to Celtic on July 1, as he told Arsenal’s club media: “Just thank you for everything from day one. They supported us through the good times and the bad, and they supported me through some hard times as well.
“I think that’s what I’m most grateful for, the times where it wasn’t so good or so easy for me is when they probably supported me most, so I’m just very grateful and I feel very lucky to have the support from them.
“I feel so lucky that I’ve played for this club and the love that the supporters have given me has been amazing. I’ve loved every day here and I’ve learned so much, I’ve improved so much and I just feel very lucky.”
Shay Reid to Celtic?
Young Cliftonville striker Shay Reid enjoyed a successful trial with Celtic – but he is reportedly being watched by Preston North End, Wrexham and Aberdeen.
The 16-year-old Irishman scored 51 goals for the Cliftonville youth side last season and is attracting attention in Scotland and England.
