Juventus’ plans this summer could involve Manchester United flop Antony.
Antony’s reputation has been rebuilt following a successful loan spell at Real Betis for the second half of the season.
A strong finish in La Liga meant Real Betis secured a place in the Europa League for next season, although they went on to lose the Europa Conference League final against Chelsea.
Real Betis lost 4-1 against Chelsea, and United fans criticised Antony for his lacklustre performance in the final. It was reminiscent of his displays in a United shirt and that is not the reason he will be remembered by the Betis faithful.
Making their intentions clear for the football world to see, Betis want to keep Antony for another season, but it remains to be seen if they will be able to afford such a deal.
Antony scored nine goals and provided five assists in 26 appearances for the Spanish side and was considered a favourite amongst fans.
Betis could face competition from Atletico Madrid for Antony’s signature, but they aren’t the only club considering a move for the Brazil international.

The latest news suggests Antony has admirers in Italy as Juventus plot a surprise move for the United flop following his loan spell at Betis.
According to UOL Esporte, Juventus placed Antony on their shortlist earlier in 2025 and are now considering a formal bid.
Antony enjoyed his time in Spain, but it remains to be seen if he is willing to turn down a move to a giant club like Juventus to stay at Betis, where things looked a lot better for him last season.
It remains to be seen how much money Juventus are willing to spend on Antony.
Ineos will see Antony as an asset they can cash in on this summer in order to facilitate more transfers to build Amorim’s squad. That’s proof that the loan deal to Betis has been a success.
What’s next for Antony?
After being recalled to the Brazil squad under Carlo Ancelotti, Antony is back on the international stage after being frozen out of the national team.
Brazil have two World Cup qualifiers this month as they take on Ecuador and Paraguay.
Antony is one of two United first team members set to be involved in action, with Casemiro also returning to the Brazil squad following Ancelotti’s appointment as manager.
Both Brazilians face uncertain futures at Old Trafford.
