Sunderland gem Trai Hume has revealed where his future lies amid links to Everton.
With the transfer window now into the fifth day of being open, Everton have already started their summer business and will no doubt be keen to do plenty more.
Carlos Alcaraz became their first signing of the Bramley-Moore era, with the Toffees utilising the buy-clause in his loan contract from last season.
With that said, Hume has been linked with a move to Everton, and the Northern Ireland international has since spoken out about his future.

Sunderland defender reveals future plans
David Moyes will almost certainly have his priorities this summer, and the signing of a new striker will more than likely be one of them, but when the opportunity comes to strengthen any area of his side, he won’t turn it down.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Hume, a full Northern Ireland international, has been linked with a move to both Everton and Wolves this summer, having impressed for the Black Cats in their promotion-winning campaign last time out in the Championship.

His hard-tackling nature is adored by supporters, and via an interview with the Belfast Telegraph (4 June), it seems as though he won’t be in a rush to leave anytime soon.
He said: “I have always said I love my football at Sunderland, I love the club and I am happy where I am. If anything happens, it’s down to the club. I am happy being there.”

Moyes needs reinforcements this summer
It may be unlikely that the Toffees bolster their squad any further before the transfer window closes again on 10 June, with most of their business expected to come in the second half of the window.
After making so much progress under Moyes last season, they need to recruit well and ensure that he has the tools to take them even further this time around.
As mentioned, signing a striker is a must, but there are plenty of other areas of the squad that will require attention ahead of next season’s Premier League campaign at Bramley-Moore, and there will be little room for error if they are to start pushing on under the Scotsman.
