**West Ham are hoping for better offers for Mohammed Kudus after Chelsea made a formal move for the player, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.**
The Hammers forward is expected to depart the club this summer, with the club aiming to receive a high cash offer to enable Graham Potter to fund a rebuild of the squad ahead of the new 2025/26 season.
It has been confirmed by our club insider that London rivals Chelsea have made a move to land the Ghana international, however the proposal has been rejected by the club, as West Ham aim to seek a far more suitable offer, with clubs from Saudi still very keen to sign Kudus this summer.
“Reports of players being offered in exchange for Mo Kudus have been confirmed by the club,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon.
“It was also confirmed that we have turned down those deals because we would rather get the money into the transfer fund with other players of priority.
“Chelsea made this move because, as we exclusively revealed a couple of days ago, we had shown some initial interest in some of the their players so our London rivals tried to use this interest to land Kudus.
“We hope that we will get a higher cash offer for the player elsewhere with Saudi clubs lurking. We could go back for some of those Chelsea players that were offered in the future but for now we would rather take money for Kudus.”
