Liverpool appear to be going big in the transfer window as they look to build on their recent success.
The Reds won their 20th league title this past season, cruising past the likes of Arsenal to win the league by a 15-point margin in Arne Slot’s first season at the club.
Slot managed to do so without signing any players, except Federico Chiesa, who barely played any games for the club.
However, the club are now looking to properly back the manager, with Liverpool already signing Jeremie Frimpong.
The Reds are also in talks with Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, while they are in negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen with Liverpool plotting a mega bid for Florian Wirtz.

Florian Wirtz may have confirmed Liverpool transfer
The reports about the midfielder joining Slot’s side is gaining momentum with Wirtz reportedly choosing Liverpool over Bayern Munich and Man City.
Liverpool already bid £109m for Wirtz, with Leverkusen rejecting the offer.
The German club are looking for a British record fee to sign Wirtz, which FSG has reportedly given the green light for.
According to David Ornstein, the talks are ongoing and are progressing in the right direction.
And now the player himself may have given a big hint regarding the potential transfer. As the German players arrived to play Portugal in the UEFA Nations League, journalist Lewis Steele asked Wirtz if he is excited to join Liverpool. The German looked at him and gave a subtle but assuring nod as he walked past him.
Florian Wirtz’s performance vs Portugal
Wirtz was very much involved in the game against Portugal. Not only did he impress Liverpool fans with his altercations with Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva, but he also delivered a great performance.
He scored a brilliant header past the goalkeeper to give Germany the lead before half-time. And while Portugal scored two quick goals in the second half to win the game, the midfielder’s individual performance was notable.
Wirtz showed his all-round game and relentless energy, winning the most duels on the pitch (9), proving difficult to dispossess and showing his physical edge.
He also had the most touches in the opposition box (5), constantly pushing Germany forward and getting into dangerous positions.
