Sunderland’s youthful squad, including Trai Hume, have attracted the interest of many clubs across Europe including those in the Premier League.
Jobe Bellingham has attracted interest from a number of Bundesliga clubs, with Borussia Dortmund likely to capture the midfielder.
The scorer of the winning goal in the play-off final, Tommy Watson, has already been snapped up by Brighton and Hove Albion.
This has led Sunderland fans to speculate who else from their exciting squad may be on their way out of the door.
However, Black Cats fans will love what Trai Hume has said about his future with the club.

Trai Hume is ‘happy being there’ at Sunderland
Hume spoke to the Belfast Telegraph with fellow Championship play-off hero Daniel Ballard, ahead of Northern Ireland’s fixtures with Scandinavian nations, Denmark and Iceland.
The full-back addressed his future with the club as he looks to achieve his dream of Premier League football.
He said: “For me it is a dream come true, getting a chance to play in the Premier League.
“You always get speculation in the summer or winter period that clubs are looking at this or that, but I have always said I love my football at Sunderland, I love the club and I am happy where I am at.
“If anything happens it’s down to the club. I am happy being there.”
So, Sunderland fans can rest easy knowing Hume is committed to the club, with the Northern Ireland international indicating the only reason he’d leave the club this summer would be if the club deemed his services no longer needed.
Trai Hume’s journey with Sunderland
The 23-year-old joined Sunderland in January 2022 for a fee of £150,000 from Linfield, having spent three years with the Belfast club.
He made his debut for Sunderland in a 2–1 league defeat to Cheltenham Town on 8 February 2022, while the club were still in League One.
Hume achieved promotion with the club to the Championship in his first few months in the northeast of England.
