Report: Wolves now eyeing move to sign 'outstanding' star who 'causes so much trouble for…

Wolves are monitoring Danish full-back Clement Bischoff as a possible replacement for Rayan Ait-Nouri ahead of the summer transfer window, according to a report from Molineux News.

The Wanderers endured a difficult Premier League season overall, but they turned a corner under manager Vitor Pereira. The Wolves boss guided them away from the relegation zone, ending the campaign strongly and comfortably above the bottom three.

As a result of their impressive performances in recent months, we could see Wolves back Pereira as he's clearly the right man for the job. The Midlands club have unfortunately already lost Matheus Cunha in the summer transfer window, joining Manchester United, but they will now have some money to spend in the market.

Wolves Eyeing Clement Bischoff

He could replace Ait-Nouri

According to a report from Molineux News, Wolves are targeting a move to sign Brondby star Bischoff ahead of the summer transfer window. The 19-year-old is enjoying an impressive breakthrough campaign in senior football, and his versatility could make him a useful option.

Bischoff can play as a midfielder, winger, or full-back, and the Denmark U21 international could be the ideal replacement for Ait-Nouri, considering he is capable of playing further forward. Ait-Nouri, although naturally a full-back, often gets involved in the final third and makes an impact from an attacking sense.

Bischoff has been described as 'absolutely outstanding' by Danish Scout, while also being labelled a player who 'causes so much trouble for opposing right-backs'. With Pereira deploying a wing-back system, Bischoff could be ideal on the left-hand side, especially if Ait-Nouri does head through the exit door.

The Athletic's David Ornstein recently reported that Ait-Nouri is now expected to join Manchester City during the summer transfer window. All parties are yet to reach an agreement, but they expect a deal to be completed in the coming weeks or months.

As a result, a new left-sided wing-back will be needed. Although Bischoff is only 19 years old with a lack of experience, he certainly fits the profile needed to play in that role under Pereira at Wolves.
