Russell Martin has returned to management after being appointed as Rangers manager.
Martin has signed a deal with the Scottish giants until 2028 and was confirmed on Thursday morning.
Martin looked set for the Leicester City job but the 39-year-old seemingly prefers heading north of the border to a side where he had a brief loan spell.
It works out well for Martin, who said he wanted a full pre-season with his new employers and now attention will turn to trying to overthrow a dominant Celtic force.
A recent takeover at Rangers means the club will have money to spend and the incoming manager will want to put a stamp on the squad.
He will have his favourites and some of those at Southampton could follow him to the blue side of Glasgow.
With that, here are three players that Martin may try and pluck from Southampton.
Kyle Walker-Peters
Kyle Walker-Peters is out of contract and almost certainly leaving St Mary’s Stadium this summer.
He was a huge part of Martin’s success in the Championship and suits his system down to a tee.

Walker-Peters would be a huge upgrade on Rangers captain James Tavernier and even has the versatility to operate in the left wing-back slot.
Premier League clubs will also be interested in the 28-year-old but the allure of Rangers and potential Champions League football may be too good to turn down.
Charlie Taylor
Ridvan Yilmaz is linked with a return to his native Turkey and that therefore opens up a gap on the left-hand side of defence.
Jefte is usually a nailed-on starter but now that former Queens Park Rangers star Leon Balogun has left Rangers again, a wiser head is needed at the back.
Charlie Taylor is more than capable of filling in that role and with Martin favouring a back three, can also slot in as a left-sided centre-back.
Not the most glamorous addition, but one that fills a gap.
Joe Aribo
They say you should never go back, but Martin is heading back to Rangers and may look to take Joe Aribo with him.
Aribo was loved at Rangers and scored the goal to give them the lead in the Europa League final, but hasn’t really set the world alight on the south coast.
Mohamed Diomande is being linked with a move away from Ibrox to Everton and Aribo would need no settling in period if it came to replacing a key asset.
Martin will want players who know what it means to represent Rangers and the midfielder is one of those who fits that bill.
