Barcelona have reportedly made an approach to Liverpool for Luis Diaz but have been told to forget about trying to sign the forward as he’s not for sale.
Diaz is said to be one of Barcelona’s top transfer targets for the summer, but it seems the Premier League champions have no interest in letting him go.
According to The Athletic, Barca made contact with Liverpool yesterday to ask about a potential transfer and were told in no uncertain terms that the Reds do not want to sell.
A Barcelona move for Diaz looked unlikely in any case, due to his lofty price tag, but the latest update suggests the Catalans will have to look elsewhere.
Marcus Rashford still appears to be an option, and is reportedly willing to take a pay-cut to seal a move, while Ademola Lookman is also thought to be on the club’s radar.
