Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali has insisted he is happy in England and doesn’t want to return to Italy, despite having some thought’s on the matter.

The midfielder is now back to his best for Newcastle and Italy after a strong season for the Magpies in which they won their first trophy in 70 years and qualified for the Champions League once again.
He’s very much put his problems behind him after an eight-month suspension for betting related offences in his homeland.
His performances this season have not gone unnoticed, and he has been linked with a return to Serie A, where Juventus and various other teams in the league have been credited with an interest.
He’s aware of those rumours and has some thoughts about them but doesn’t intend to leave England any time soon.
“I’m happy as I am now, I’ve found people who love me and I love them, I don’t want to break any line that I’ve created. I’ve had my thoughts, like normal people, but I’m happy where I am,” he said.
The focus, instead, is on winning more trophies for Newcastle after finally helping the club to break that duck this season.
The Magpies win over Liverpool in the League Cup was a momentous occasion, to say the least, and Tonali admits the added bonus of being underdogs added to the magic.
“It was nice because it was difficult, even if not unexpected,” he added.
“We weren’t the favourites, it was nice also for this reason because when a slightly unexpected team wins, people’s eyes always go there, and then we hadn’t won for 70 years.”
