Player leaves national team setup to complete Manchester City move – Everything in order on transfer

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Rayan Aït-Nouri has left the Algerian national team set up to travel to Manchester and undergo a medical for Manchester City.

That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who reports that the full back will undergo a medical at Manchester City and complete his transfer to the Cityzens.

According to his information, ‘everything is in order’ and the Algerian full back is expected to complete a move to Manchester City shortly.

The Wolves defender had been with the Algerian national team for a friendly clash with Rwanda today, before they take on Sweden next week. Tavolieri, though, reports he’s left the set up to complete his move to Manchester City.

That has been picking up over the last few days, with the Wolves full-back seemingly becoming the number one target for Pep Guardiola’s side. They are keen to get deals done early this summer ahead of competing in the Club World Cup in America.

The left-back spot has been a long-term issue for them, and it seems 23-year-old Aït-Nouri is now on the verge of completing a move from Wolves and solving that issue once and for all.
