Wolves wing-back Rayan Ait-Nouri is set to undergo his medical ahead of his lucrative transfer to Manchester City.
After Matheus Cunha joined Manchester United, it quickly became apparent that Rayan Ait-Nouri was going to be the next to leave.
Manchester City have had a long-standing interest in Ait-Nouri, who is seen as their top target in the left wing-back role.
Pep Guardiola’s admiration towards the Algerian has accelerated in recent weeks, with Ait-Nouri set to agree personal terms with Man City.

Wolves wanted between £40m – £45m for Ait-Nouri, but according to Romano, the fee agreed is €40m (£33m), with add-ons no doubt included in the deal.
Once he completes his medical this weekend, barring any miracles, his transfer to the Etihad will be finalised early next week.
For Wolves, it is devastating to lose such a talented player who has developed into one of the best wing-backs in the Premier League. However – much like Cunha – he’s earned his opportunity to move to a bigger club.
