TBR Football can exclusively reveal Cody Gakpo’s stance amid interest from Bayern Munich.
Gakpo had a sublime season under Arne Slot, with the Dutchman playing a key role for Liverpool, helping them win their 20th league title.
He scored 18 goals and assisted another seven in 49 games across all competitions, providing Mohamed Salah with much-needed support in attack.
He has now been linked with a move away from Anfield, with the German giants showing strong interest in him.

TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that there is interest in Gakpo, with Bayern Munich initiating contact with Gakpo’s representatives.
However, the player is said to be happy at Liverpool under Slot and is not looking to leave the club, with the player aware that he is firmly in the club’s plans going into the new season.
That said, TBR Football understands that the interest from the Bundesliga giants has flattered the player.
While Gakpo looks set to stay, it is understood that Liverpool do plan to sell Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota and Federico Chiesa.
Liverpool’s stance on Luis Diaz amid links with Barcelona and Saudi Pro League
While Nunez, Jota and Chiesa are up for sale, TBR Football understands that the club has no plans to sell Luis Diaz this summer despite the links.
Diaz remains on Barcelona’s shortlist to fill their want for a new forward. He is also wanted by the Saudi Pro League, with Al-Nassr reportedly preparing a £72m bid for Diaz.
The Colombian has two years left on his current deal and the club are ready to offer him a wage rise, given he is one of the lowest-paid first-team regulars.
However, the club insists they will not offer him a new deal just because of the links away with the club.
