The New York Knicks squad partied in New York City on Monday night, just two days after their playoff elimination and only hours after head coach Tom Thibodeau was fired.
One of the most successful New York Knicks seasons in recent memory came to an end after they were eliminated by the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals, losing the series 2–4.

Despite a disappointing exit, especially after being considered favorites to reach their first NBA Finals since 1999, the Knicks were seen partying just two days later on Monday night at The Fleur Room in Chelsea, according to the New York Post.
Photos obtained by the Post showed that the celebration was attended by all the team’s core players, along with several notable guests, including Knicks legend Latrell Sprewell, rapper Busta Rhymes, and English Premier League striker Eddie Nketiah.
What made the party even more surprising was that it took place less than 24 hours after head coach Tom Thibodeau was fired.
While the timing raised eyebrows, it appears to be coincidental. Multiple players denied that Thibodeau was to blame for the playoff loss, most notably Knicks star Jalen Brunson, who shut down a reporter when asked whether Thibodeau was still the right coach to lead them forward.
