Pedri reveals advice for Barcelona-bound Joan García

Barcelona star Pedri has on Thursday sent a message of advice the way of Blaugrana transfer target Joan García.

It is of course common knowledge across Spain at this point that Barcelona have set their sights firmly on Joan’s signature.

Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements between the posts for next season, the Blaugrana have earmarked the Espanyol standout as the ideal profile for present and future alike.

So much so that some sources have gone as far as to point towards a deal being struck between the parties as essentially imminent.

🚨🔵🔴 Premier League clubs now also aware of Joan García final decision: he will play for Barcelona.

Move to be completed next week with €25m release clause to be paid, as @RogerTorello @ffpolo reported on MD.

Whilst away on international duty this week, it therefore came as little surprise when Joan’s name was put to a current member of Hansi Flick’s ranks in Catalunya’s capital.

Specifically, during an interview with beIN Sports, as cited by Jijantes, the aforementioned Pedri was asked about his compatriot’s potential arrival.

And the Blaugrana midfielder, in his response, sent some advice the way of Joan, regarding Barca’s status amongst the game’s biggest clubs:

“Joan García is a great goalkeeper, he has a lot of qualities. He’s not ours yet, so I can’t tell you much.

“But if you have the opportunity to come to Barça, I would tell you it’s the best team in the world.”
